Is this invoice generator free and private?

Yes. It is completely free and runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded to a server, so your seller, buyer, and amount details never leave your device. Use the Print button to save the invoice as a PDF or to send it to a printer.

How do I add tax to an invoice?

Enter the tax rate as a percentage in the Tax rate field, for example 20 for 20% VAT or 10 for 10% GST. You can also rename the Tax label to match what applies in your country, such as VAT, GST, or Sales Tax. The tool calculates subtotal, tax amount, and total automatically.

Can I use this for both USD and INR invoices?

Yes. Select the currency from the dropdown before filling in your amounts. Supported currencies include USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, SGD, and AED. The currency symbol updates throughout the preview and printed PDF. The tool does not convert between currencies; it formats amounts in whichever currency you choose.

What should I put in the Notes field for payment terms?

Common entries include your bank account details or UPI ID for payments, a due date reminder such as "Payment due within 14 days," and any late fee policy. Freelancers often add a thank-you line. The notes appear at the bottom of the printed invoice below the total.
